The Week of October 28...

 

What will we be doing in Class this Week?

Math:

This week we will viewing fractions as division problems!!! In class we will be comparing solving these problems with fractional remainders and decimal remainders, and the situations that might require either.

 

On Monday, we will get a new Spiral Review Sheet, and on Friday it is due.

 

Reading: Main Idea & Supporting Details  

 

Writing:  On Monday we will have a Constructed Response, and throughout the week we will be working on Monday and Tuesday we will be doing research for our Non-fiction writing!  (I hope everyone likes the name they've been given.  If not, please see me, and we'll see what we can do.)

 

WORDLY WISE-

We begin work on Unit 2 Monday!  I'll pass out your books, and you can remove unit two to place inside the three-ring binder.  This way you won't need to keep another book inside your backpack.

Social Studies:

We will begin studying the events that led to World War I.  I'll give out Studies Weekly #9, and we'll review the important articles Monday!
