Specials
This week students at Shallowford Falls will draw along with critically acclaimed online Art Teacher from Nashville, Tennessee, Cassie Stephens!! Her videos are very thorough and professional, and she really does a great job at differentiating for students under the camera. I am SURE our students will LOVE these lessons.
Please see the attached Robot IDEAS sheet. If you have a printer, you can print them out and have them handy so that you have a VARIETY of ideas if you need a little creative help!
3rd, 4th and 5th grade: Drawing 3D Robots
Materials Needed: white paper (computer paper will do if you don’t have art paper), a pencil, washable markers (like Crayola) OR Sharpie marker. If students would prefer, they can go through the whole video in pencil instead of marker so that they can erase, and then trace their artwork in marker after they are finished with their drawing, THEN use their pencil to add SHADING (VALUE) to their work.
