Reading
1. If you have not yet completed Meet Rosa Parks on Readworks, please complete it now! This was assigned while we were still in school, but a few folks did not complete it.
2. Your input is needed on a question posted on Edmodo under Reading. A reply is expected!
3. Read for 20min using Signposts as you read. Please send via Edmodo Message ** When you finish reading for 20 minutes, pick one of your signposts to write a response on it. Use the signpost anchor questions to help you write a response.
Math
1. Packet Work: Complete Thursday 5-A-Day Math block for WEEK 1
2. Finish work on Shape Up! Coordinate grid activity – Please send your teacher a picture of your completed assignment via Edmodo messages
• You need to have this completed by the end of today.
• Day two – Color the shapes using the respected color per the instructions on the paper
3. Log into Edmodo, and look under Math tab. I've had some questions about 5-A-Day, and I showed images there that may be helpful.
4. Do an IXL task if you have any extra time. (Look on Edmodo for suggested tasks.)
5. A 5-A- Day answer video is going to be posted on Edmododo under math.
Writing/ ELA
1. Packet Work: Complete Thursday 5-A-Day Grammar block for WEEK 6. Use your ELA journals to help you complete the grammar 5-A-Day.
2. Journal Entry: Title it → Day 4 – March 19, 2020
**Write about what you did today. Things to think about in your journal entry: ▫ How was your day different from a normal day at school?
▫ What did you and your family talk about?
▫ Did you discuss what is going on with Covid-19?
▫ If so, what was discussed?
▫ What are your thoughts and feelings about being out?
▫ What are your thoughts and feelings about Covid-19?
You may send this to me as a 365 document. Please send this to me on Edmodo, as a message. If you are writing a message, you will see a a paper clip under the text you have typed. Click on the paperclip, and you can attach the journal document. I'd like for us to have a conversation about what you've written, and this is an easy way to do that.
Social Studies

• You may take it over again, and SHOULD, until you reach 80%. Challenge yourself to reaching 100%. Teachers will be monitoring student access and completion of the Quizizz activity. Students please put your first and last name when you start the Quizizz to receive credit.
